ABOUT THIS ART PIECE...
"The final piece, following on from Grand Theft Auto, in my first UK Invasion series and still questioning ownership. I felt braver in my choice of iconic
image and with determination to produce this painting, I got permission to photograph a Route-master bus inside The London
Transport Museum (whom, I thank gratefully for this opportunity). The use of a classic bus, to me, always represented freedom
to travel. A way of getting from one place to another and similar titles of Grand Theft Auto and Phone Hacked which reflect upon the image an ability to operate without monetary restrain. The use of the Dalek shaped image celebrates
British Sci-fi design and is also used as a metaphor for dictator. There's also a few other reflective gems hidden within
this piece and the others that followed in the UK Invasion series!" This Painting was created by Stu MacKay with acrylic paints on a 20" x 30" canvas.
